Tips on drinking enough water!

A subject that comes up frequently when I am with clients is how to make sure they are drinking enough water. While we all know that we should be drinking at least 2 litres of water a day, many people struggle to do this.

While I think it is best to make sure that we are drinking 2 litres of water a day, I do feel that if people struggle with this, a good compromise is to include herbal teas.

Here are a few tips to ensure you are drinking enough:

  1. Try to drink a large glass of water as soon as you get up in the morning.This will help flush out toxins that have built up in your system overnight.
  2. Try drinking a glass of water every time you have a cup of tea or coffee.
  3. Have a bottle of water with you at work.
  4. Drink lemon water. Its health benefits are numerous and it is refreshing and delicious. Make by squeezing a quarter segment of lemon into a mug and dropping the segment in as well. Top up with boiling water.
